Mod rewrite newbie

    Hi, I am new to this mod rewriting, and have read through all the information on this forum. Unfortunetly i am still at a loss :confused: . I hope someone can lend a hand.

    I am using softbiz's b2b script and am trying to rewrite the url's so they are more SEO friendly. I have found another website that has modified the same script, but i have been unable to duplicate this.


    http://www mysite com/selloffer_view.php?id=72
    is
    http://www theirsite com/selloffer_view/id/83899.htm


    Also some of my links have CID which i would like to get rid of if possible:
    e.g.
    http://www mysite com/cat_buy.php?cid=0

    Any help please :confused:
