Mod rewrite for Amazon GhostScripter store

Im afraid to say while it all looked good having purchased the GhostScripter Amazon store product, there is absolutely no help from their support team (although you do get a quick response if you have a sales query....!)

I am having trouble with the mod rewrite feature, which is a requirement if you want to get up the search rankings. The links to other pages on the site work fine, but all the image links on the featured and hot products pages dont work. They seem to try to load:
    http://mysite.com/products/images/uk/http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21j9X%2B3BDSL.jpg
    instead of just:
    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21j9X%2B3BDSL.jpg

The links do work on the product info pages however!

I tried changing the link in the source file, but that seems ok, and also checked in the htaccess file, but any changes didnt seem to make any difference:

    RewriteRule ^products/images/uk/(.*).jpg$ http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/$1.jpg

Can anyone else help?Gtech, you seem to have some good reviews!!
    Thanks in advance

Give me the URL of your store (with an example URL page of where I can see the problem), I need to see the source code of the page and the server response codes to try to help you.
