Mod Rewrite and SEO?

    What is the effect of using mod rewrite to direct a domain to a different default directory?

    I.E-
    Domain -----> Directory
    example.com -----> /
    example2.com -----> /example2
    example3.com -----> /example3

    Does using mod rewrite to redirect these domains cause SEO problems for the SE's?
