Mod please make this sticky

The purpose of this board is for webmaster of directory to get more listing. I am thinking why don't we make a sticky post for those who want their website to be listed so that

1) i don't have to come back all the time to check for new directory and submit
2) Webmaster can get hundred of non spam listing instantly

if you own a free directory, please consider adding my website

Good idea, but wouldnt it be best you adding your website, as I think directory owners like my self have alot to do as it is without having to add your link them selfs. dont take that the wrong way it just makes me think when people ask that same question

But I like your idea alot it would be better

 

Why should a directory owner come here and hunt down sites to add?
I find that using google, I can find good sites that I might add to my directories that are niche directories.
General directory, why bother?

Now a list of directories is a better idea.
Then if you have a site, you can go down the line submitting the site.

It is true that i should be the one who go to directory and submit a link. However, i am busy(and lazy ) and i can't come here look for new directory everyday. If your thread sink to the second or third page, i won't even know your directory existed and i can't submitt. If you are looking to expand your directory with quality website from DP member, it might be easier and more efficient by checking this thread and add them to your directory

Also since only menber of DP can post their link here, it is less likely to have spam site...

 

As a directory owner one will have many tasks to perform, in addition doing this is not easy thing to do.

sorry guys, i haven't think about the webmaster side...i though it would be a easy job for you guy to add a site, but it is not.

and as iowadawg said, a sticky for list of directory would be a better idea
