Shawn or others with coop mod powers. I just created a new account for an associate's 6K+ page forum. After everything runs smoothly, I will pass all account details etc. on to him. I've been silly and forgot to sign up through my own referral link. Any chance of amending this manually? I can prove by PM that I am the one who started the accounts. The e-mail addresses are all mine and I can tell you all other details. Is this possible please? If so, tell me what you need to know and I'll PM the details. Thanks.
If it won't be possible then just change the site name on this account to some imaginary one, and create a new account for the site - this time using your refferal link
Sorry, there isn't a manual override. You can redo the account if you want, although if it's your own account, the weight comes from the one you are referring, so it's pointless.
Yeah but I will be handing it over soon. Right now it wouldn't matter but long run it would. So I just change the account to a non-existing bogus URL and forget about it? Then sign up again?
Do you want me to tell yuo which one is obsolete so you can delete it? Related to the referral part of this: Someone convinced me that the 10% referral would be taken away from the new participant. So let's say they have 1000. I get 100 and they end up with 900. But I referred myself on another occasion and get this: The site's base is 453. Referral my Master account is getting is worth 45. 10% obviously. But it doesn't seem to be taken away from the slave account. Because I consolidate it and get the full 453. Just bonus weight that came out of nowhere so to speak. I was expecting 90% of 453 consolidated and 10% from the referral. It would have made sense if the original base was 490, referral 49, hence new base 441. Is it not taken away from the slave then?
It's always taken away from the one being referred underneath it all. The weight displayed s before referral credits are given. Just change the URL to something like http://www.badurl.badurl or something.
