Okay...I never have any problems with infractions or anything but can you guys please have a mod check? I think there's a mod going around abusing his/her powers... I received an infraction after making this post: Question about particular infractions to mods I was then banned. And how do I have a PROFILE infraction for " Fake Spammy Signature added to post" ? Obviously its a profile infraction and the reason is because of a fake spammy signature that's added to a post, when it was issued to my PROFILE? A contradicting infraction if you ask me...doesn't make much sense. The moment I am finally allowed back I was banned, and the first time was ridiculous enough.. Just, please...investigate some of the staff here at DP. Most do an awesome job but I'm questioning the ethics of one or some now...
It seems everything still stems back to this thread. You really can't see why you got into trouble there? Words fail me. I encourage everyone to read that thread and make their own mind up.
EGS, there are several issues involved here. If you check the infraction sticky posted above, it states, " *** DO NOT START A THREAD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR INFRACTION(S)***" Such posts themselves are always subject to infractions. Actually there were no infractions issued for that thread (and clearly there could have been) as could one be issued on this one. This statement I can not clearly address since we do not keep records regarding signature changes. My presumption is that you added a dig against a certain member in your signature. We do not allow the use of signatures to attack and harass another members. What I can address is you started this thread in buy sell and trade in what appears as a means to leave itrader. Buy, sell, trade is not an area for discussion. That thread was moved to general chat and was subject to an attacking and harassing infraction or infraction for thread started in wrong category. The fact that you left itrader for that thread was a case of itrader abuse. The proper way to deal with a deal gone bad is to post in the thread in buy, sell, and trade in which the deal occurred and leave itrader in that thread and that thread only.
