Hey, For the little bit I've been here at dp, I've found it hard to distinguish who the moderators are, I think it would be best if they had like a mod badge, like the Premium Member badge, so you actually know who the moderators are. They use custom user titles, so how do you know whether they are a premium member or a mod? Then you have to look at the Showgroups, and it's really much of a pain. It would be great to see something like this implemented on the board.
So you think it would be easier to look through every post in the forum to find someone with a moderator badge, vs. going to the page that specifically lists who moderators are?
I think he may like to know who are the moderators who replied or active/concentrating on a thread so that he might try posting on some other thread Just to laugh.. (Spammers wil think like that)
What I meant was that there could be a moderator badge on the moderators, so when you're looking through a thread (like some of the ones in S&F) you can tell the difference between whose a mod and whose not. This has nothing to do with showgroups.php, I just don't see why you wouldn't put a mod badge on, so people know that poster is a mod, without having to scounder showgroups for that.
Being a mod/admin doesn't make your posts any more valid than other people's posts, so no... I don't really see the point.
Frankly... I feel it is not a bad idea to have the staff members use a uniform user title such as 'Moderator/Staff', to simply make them easily visible in a thread. Regards, RightMan
