Are you looking at creating mobile sites only? I tihnk apps seem to be more prevalent right now and with all the new phones coming out that offer better browsing of full size sites, that the mobile sites won't be as important in the long run.

I used to create WAP page that displayed realtime stats about my sites, mainly for my use, containing info like how many hits recently, number of users online, number of new customers today etc. When it's just displaying basic text from over WAP, it's like 2 pence for a quick view of your sites stats on your mobile. That was a few years ago though, I think mobile phone internet capabilites have improved a lot since browsing WAP pages on a grayscale screen In the end, most phones have the inherent problem of screen size. Even the larger touchscreens are still not ideal for reading large ammounts of text or websites. I agree though, mobile internet usage will only increase with the advances in mobile technology over the next few years. Dom.
