I have a website I want to promote it.. what is the most effective way to achieve this... without good adword? I have heard of forum link building stuff, but forums mostly block the account so this technique does not work well... Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Haroon.

As regards promoting your site on the Web, you have two options: hire a professional SEO/Internet marketer or put in a couple of years of hard work and learn SEO basics. Without this, you fill forever be chasing low-level ineffective SEO tactics. SEO changes every year, and SEO expertise largely consists in knowing which techniques work and which no longer work (while beginners often think all SEO techniques work). If you really want to learn the stuff, buy the book called The Art of SEO, published this year by O'Reilly press.
