    Hey vicviper17,

I am pretty much in the same boat as you, you here a lot of positive things about mobile marketing, I think the key is to have a really enticing offer to hook your viewer immediately. I ran a small campaign with a $50 limit and man was I surprised how quickly that got burned through it went in less than an hour and with only a 0.28 ctr so I would be extremely carefull with them. I'm sure they can be very good but I will need to do some more testing other than the ctr I didn't get enough data to test conversions really or upsells and backend stuff.

Keep us posted on your experience tho

    Regards Ron

    Hey guys

Haven't started yet but meaning to this month once I sort out all my marketing material.

There's a couple of people in the UK I know who are using it successfully. One of the guy's
uses it as a loss leader to other services he intends providing to clients at a later date.

    Regards

    Timmy

Hi, I'm about where you are with my mobile marketing campaign. Got my aweber form created, and it's mobile optimized, got a free ebook product to give away, and followup messages done, but I'm scared to do the admob mobile campaign as I can't seem to find any good source on what the typical conversion rates are. I just lost my job recently so I can't afford to make a mistake which will cost me money. If anyone here has any experience using admob which is positive please let me know. I'd also like to know if anyone has come across a way to create mobile optimized landing pages for free, or for minimal cost. If I get the courage, and go through with my admob campaign I will share the results with you guys.

    Hi,

Can you give us the stats on the campaign you ran? You know, how many days you ran the ad, what service you used, what you spent per day, what your results were each day, and most importantly how big a list you built.

I am close to being ready to run my own campaign, but would like to know what I can expect, more or less. I've been told 97% of sms messages sent get opened within 15 minutes of receiving them if not right away, but interested in what the conversion rate is for someone either opting into a form, or buying a product offer after they start receiving followup emails.

I plan to send out an sms that when opened will reveal an opt in form, and offer a free ebook in the niche I'll be promoting if they opt in.

Thanks in advance for any insights, or info you can provide regarding what I can expect.

for stats really quick i had 160k+ impressions 500+ Click through and CPC was about 6 cents, so for 28 bucks i had built a list of 25 people and upsell them with affiliate offers from click bank so its not bad...that was my test campaign i had used a crappy banner, i am now using a more optimized banner. but these were just to use on my own blog the landing page was a mobile optimized squeeze page with an ebook offer and just needed an email to opt in. i now offer this service to local buisinesses, really good money in that :)

but all in all im putting $50 into this campaign.

its worth it, you build a list to send provide followup emails to.

** i will give you more insight on my next new campaigns***
