You might be better off getting a webcam from ebay for £5.99 or something i bought an 8mp one off ebay for £7.99 about $13 worth the money aswell
Mobile can be used as a Web Camera.. But it'l be better if its of a higher megapixel... Else you can opt for PC webcam.. Cheap & Best..
what phone? I know theres software for windows mobile, but thats as good as i am on the subject. google octrotalk, i think they have one. also, on ebay you can grab a relatively brand name webcam for <10$. ive had good luck with dynex cams.
China made cellphones (usually Nokia clones) can be use without using any special software, it was automatically detected by Windowz and can be use as webcam.
Well, if you are using a Symbian phone you can use Mobiola webcam software. It works good. I use it sometime with my Nokia N95. Video comes good as it has got 5 MP camera.
mobile camera is not use as web came because both are diff. mobile camera use only for snaps not for web. so, you can purchase web camera.
Agreed, Mobiola is probably the best option. I used it for a while before getting my laptop and it worked flawlessly! It's a commercial application, but there's a 7 day free trial.
