Mobile apps for doctors and patients: pros and cons

    What do you think about these apps for doctors and patients ? Are they really important and useful for us?

    My physician does not have an app but the practice does have an online portal where you can set and confirm appointments, read his notes from visits, etc. You can also message him, if desired. It is convenient and I could see this becoming a mobile app in the future. On the other hand, if you are referring to using an app to replace a doctor visit/examination, I think that it is possible, but only for some basic maladies (e.g., a cold, etc.) You still need to be physically examined for most diseases, IMO.

    They are actually not banned but are both making fashion statements. (the're wearing red sunglasses)

    Sadly it's a spam thread, the banned poster in post#3 is a shill account of the OP, don't know why they think they can get away with this kind of nonsense, it's a blight on the forum.
