The blog is real nice. I especially like the layout but the colors are a little dead. I think putting in a brighter blue and maybe some contrasting green or red for highlight effects would bring out the content better. Also I advise not watermarking the images so much. A much lighter watermark would be better and it will not seem to your guests that you are not paranoid of them stealing your images.
The first thing I notice is the ads, and being a savvy internet user, it kind of makes me want to leave the website right away. At the very least, move the top-center ad to the bottom or remove one of the sidebar ad-blocks. That being said, this is one of the nicest Blogger templates I've seen recently. It looks like a real clean and professional blog that's not on Blogger. Nice work.
