Been playing both games since 2004 - have made so many great memories. I actually completed my University dissertation on Second Life, had an absolutely great response. Anyone else play, or have played either of these games?
I've missed out on WoW & 2nd Life due to some technical issues years back (mainly didn't have fast enough connection back then), but if you're an mmorpg fan it might be worth checking out ashes of creation & star citizen (different themes but both looking promising so far).
There use to be a game I played called; There.com but they stopped developing and then coke was doing something similar, the creators hit a deal with mtv and it hasn't been getting much love since. it was such a good game I feel
I went into a WOW coma for a few years. People complain that you have to pay for the game AND a subscription but I've never saved so much money in my life as when I played WOW nonstop. You can be thoroughly entertained for hours on end. No bar tab, no netflix, cable, etc. You don't cook crazy meals because you need to grind mobs, so life is reduced to microwaved hotdogs and frozen pizza. Honestly it's one of the best money saving things you can do!
I still play Second Life. I'm slowly getting back into content creation on there after a long break from making stuff. I particularly love to play with the scripting features which is how I first learnt programing a long time ago.
I use to trade stuff inside game named Entropia Universe... Never liked second life as it takes membership fee each month.
Have been playing WoW since 2006. Been in WoW coma, in and out. It's actually amazing how this game just keeps being attractive to me after 13 years. I mean, it obviously changed and a lot of people saying that it sucks now and it's been better before, but I just feel that it evolves. Quality of players changed more, than the game itself. Also, millennials just want stuff right here, right now and they extrapolate their attitude on games obviuosly, namely on WoW. Here's hoping, I'll be enjoying this game in 2-3 years as I am now.
