MMA is much hotter than boxing right now

    A potential matchup between Brock Lesnar and Fedor Emelianenko right now would be 100 times as exciting as ANY boxing matchup I could possibly think of.

    Even if you don't pay attention to either sport, the appeal of an MMA event has overtaken the appeal of a boxing event.

    Similarly, sometime the MMA Fights are over fast and sometimes they last 5 rounds!

    take this weekend for instance, professional fights Wed night, Friday night and now tonight (that is 30-35 fights). Boxing had about 3 professional bouts this week.

    Overall UFC has a major card once per month as do the other two major divisions. Each card has 8-15 fights.

    I won't even get into all of the local events that occur across the country every weekend.

    Oh and yes I am now a much bigger fan of MMA then boxing I've seen every UFC fight sense UFC 1 even the prelims on the ufc website!
