Ya its just like affiliate marketing but you really have to work hard to standout above the crowd. These markets are often saturated and difficult to breakout in front of the crowd. Its possible look at David Woods he is kicking butt. But also look at how many you tube videos he does and how hard he works.

You will really need to be able to take the beating in MLM because a lot of people have negative assumptions or generalization about them.

It is not impossible to succeed in it though, you just have to preserve and be committed to what you want to achieve in the MLM field.

It's similar to affiliate marketing -- in the sense that you have to signup potential clients and create leads. The problem is, the product you're selling is "MLM" -- and most people have a negative opinion or aren't interested in this type of product. So unless you're good at good at taking "no's" and can continue pushing on through the constant negative feedback -- you won't be successful. Usually it's only a few people at the top who make any real money.

For me, affiliate marketing has always been the way to go because you can pick almost any type of product or service. If you pick something that's popular (that everyone needs or is interested in), it will be a much easier sell. After you've put together a high quality website, your main goal is to drive traffic -- and the product(s) will sell themselves.
