But till then... it's just Google's built-in duplicate? You should first complete a website, then promote it.
It has a more web 2.0 look this way, you can do miracles with javascript. Blogs, Videos, Social and Torrents search engine added.
Yes, and that's great for people like us, and the Js is pretty...nice job.... but who are you looking to attract? Webmasters from Digital Point or the average user that doesn't automatically know to hover for more options and will probably just back out thinking it's just a Google copy? People need to see everything that you have to offer right away, not search and hover to see if there is something else. THAT is web 2.0. It's not just pretty colors and big buttons. You need more than a "web 2.0" look, you also need the function.
That is one slick search engine. I like the hover board. Maybe put a "hover here" text so everyone will know what to do
Yes @sitesnapper. I will make a video or put a js info box somewhere to explain how you can use the site. @hmansfield I am not only looking to target webmasters, my target are average users, but I think that an average user can "play" with a mouse and discover that right ? Anyway I will put a info box or a image or something to show how you need to use it.
I think that is a good idea. I do this all the time as well, I assume that "regular" people will know what to do and the truth is, they really don't...you have to tell them, and guide them. The first time that I looked at your site, the thought of searching around to see what needs to be hovered over never occurred to me...all I saw was "Google" and backed out thinking that you hadn't done anything special. It was only after seeing it mentioned elsewhere in the thread that I went back and then saw it...but you don't have that luxury when it comes to real usage. That is why I mentioned it. If I can overlook it, "regular" users probably will too. Anyway, it looks nice. Good job.
I like the idea, but could not figure out that you had to roll over the Google logo to get anything to happen. Not very intuitive or easy to figure out. At first I just thought you were running an engine with Google results and ads and nothing else.
