Mixing adsense and affiliate banners on the same page ?

    Hi,

I got a question about very specific thing. I have one celebrity gossip blog site which is getting more and more traffic every day, its 2 months old now.
I have adsense on it, but they are doing really poorly. I get around 15 clicks a day, and hardly go over $1. It can be due to low paying niche, agues. Some clicks were as low as $0.01. Amazing :)

Now, I want to start introducing more revenue streams, like affiliate banners. The content of the affiliated sites is close to be considered as soft pron. It’s not really pron, but it shows naked celeb pics. My question is would it be ok? from standpoint of TOS, to add those affiliate banners to same page where adsense is located, or your advice for me is to remove adsense first?
Would I break some rules with this if I leave both of them in a same page? Adsense for this site is making low revenues anyway, but I just want to be sure.

    Thanks allot,

    B.

Going by your description those ads may fall under..
    in Adsense Policy.

IMO you must remove AS from the site entirly if you want to try those banners.

So, what exactly means mature content?
This affiliate will show partly nude pictures and unexpected content really, and it can be with nude people, yes.

If I take out the adsense while showing this banners for a period of testing (2 months), when I see the results, and I want to return adsense, would it be possible based on circumstances?

    Thanks.

Instead of worying about Adsense I'd rather consider if such ads would help your blog in general. I don't think you're readers would be happy seeing these cheap ads...

I think your best bet is to specifically ask the Google AdSense support people for a comment. Otherwise, you risk being banned.
