Miva = Evil

    OK, I had low expectations when I loaded up my new MIVA account with a minimum starting amount. But I wanted to try a second tier PPC and MIVA was supposed to be less bad than other second tiers. I could never have predicted this:
    • I knew MIVA would convert low, but I didn't expect a 1-2% conversion rate.
    • MIVA rejects far more keywords than G or Y.
    • MIVA has a long "manual" editorial approval process that takes several days.
    Except for the low conversion rate, it reminds me of pre-Panama YSM. Sure, I guess I get what I deserve. But if you're looking to burn some money fast, just use a lighter or a match. It'll be easier and less painful. :D

    Hahaha. I can agree with you on this one. I never really got good conversions with it either. I stopped using it all together.

    Yes, I have found that the editorial process can be very long, sometimes as long as a week or more.
