Tried them once... They do pay but very low from my experience... Might be different now, but I doubt that... Hope they'll somehow increase their cpc rate, and I'll defenetly get back to them if they do..

I've heard a lot about crap traffic from them. I would avoid anyone other than google, yahoo and msn for ppc; unless you want a lot of highly dubious traffic.

MIVA is a great and reputed company. It's publicly traded, so that should tell you something.

They get a lot of their ads from Google- like Ask.com. They basically take a cut off the profits.

I don't know where the previous poster gets his evidence from, but MIVA are now absolutely absymal.

I have had an account with them (formerly Findwhat) for over seven years and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars advertising with them, so can speak from experience.

We have stopped using them because of the poor quality of their traffic. They are not as good with fraud prevention as the Tier 1 PPC search engines.

They were crap then and they are even worse now. Obviously, they work with Freedom of ads. Just look at the glowing post.

Offhand, I believe the OP was speaking of the publisher aspect of MIVA. But I am sorry for your experience on their advertiser side- it sounds terrible.
