Misunderstanding of the "niche" concept among some Clickbank users!

I hear so many of you asking which niche of ClickBank products to focus on. That's like asking people which single basket they put all their eggs in!

If you're familiar with investments, that is a very bad approach! The key to a stable stream of Clickbank income is a well-diversified portfolio of ClickBank products. This way you aren't as vulnerable to which way the wind is blowing for a particular niche.

With that said, the concept if "niche" is vital in another respect, and that is "customer targeting". While we should be generalists in our selection of products to promote, we should be laser-specific in our marketing of each product so we don't spend resources on people who are less likely to buy. After-all, why pay 25 cents on someone who has a .05% chance of buying when there is someone else who also costs 25 cents but has a 2% chance of buying? (an example of this is using "free" as a negative keyword in PPC).

If you have a diversified, high volume palette of products you are promoting, selected based on careful analysis (trial and error), you don't need to worry about volume for a particular product and can instead focus on specificity. That way you get volume (from the # of products you promote), and ROI from your narrow-marketing for each particular product.

:) I should write a book or start a blog.

You should write an Ebook, then have tons of content in a blog to support that e-book.

People don't realize it, but a blog WILL convert traffic if the information is useful to the user.

    - BTW, You should always focus on multiple niches and products. Think about it - "the ultimate wealth package" was an excellent selling product, however, it is no longer in existence in the Clickbank marketplace.

What if i would have put all my eggs into THAT basket? I would've been screwed for life; and would have probably given up internet marketing all together.

People should start out by finding one converting niche [that has low refund rates] and perfect that until they get the most out of it. While they're doing that, they should start testing for another converting niche/product. Rinse and Repeat and you should see a substantial amount of sells.

Multiple Niches is the key to success ;)

I recommend trying to make money with free methods [SEO, Blogging, Links, ETC], so you can learn the basics of internet marketing without losing money; you can also create a financial income net for yourself just in case your beginning PPC campaigns fail.
