I have setup my mister wong account, and created a few bookmarks, but it wont let me make them public, so hence i am not getting any backlinks from it, has anyone else experienced this??
I too have account and bookmarks on Mr Wong and Stumbleupon but I only receive traffic from them haven't noticed about Backlinks, maybe they are nofollow links.
Mr Wong link are dofollow . If you have a doubt , check it with nodofollow Firefox addon . You have to tag your submissions with the exact keywords as found in wong home page ...
Yeah i too had heard that mister wong were dofollow links... I'm sure if i can set my bookmarks to public i might get on better, but when i try and set them to public it says that its not allowed. Im just trying to find out if anyone has experienced this? i have emailed mister wong but had no reply :-(
i dont have any problem submitting public bookmarks on mister wong. not sure why you are having issues
Yes I am also facing the same issue i have submitted 125 post in mister wong but all are private. I dont know these stupid idea to make it public. I tried a lot wasting 5 hours to make it public by all techniques and methods but none of that make my bookmarks private. Can anybody explain me the technique or exactly the procedure to make it public. Dont say that select public opiton whlile submitting bookmark.
This is from their help guide: 56. Why are all my Bookmarks suddenly set to private? There are reasons Mister Wong sets certain Bookmarks or accounts to private. Please read "Mister Wong's Anti Spam Guidelines".
Either way it doesnt matter if they are dofollow, nofollow, private, or public. Those links have no PR juice and no relevancy so they do nothing for you. I tried to use mister wong for awhile but it gave me nothing but a very small amount of traffic and no SEO value.
I found out that Mister wong will set all your links to private, if you have been using a couple of different accounts to try and make you own site look more popular. This was advice i took from someones words of wisdom here on digital point (cant remember what post it was) with regards to social bookmarking on mister wong.... thanks for that hehe. Have since cancelled all my accounts, and set up another one, bookmarking a mixture of other sites as well as my own and they seem to have stayed at public this time.
