I was just browsing round my site and click one of my ads by mistake. However when I clicked the ad I was able to stop the page loading before it went to advertisers page. But the domain of the advertisers appeared in my url bar. What do I do? Am I worrying for nothing?

Well, that's a good question. I think if you did it mistakenly, you should not worry about that. As long as you are honest with Google, no one will boot you out from AdSense.

I wouldn't worry about it, but if it makes you feel better, go ahead and send an email to them telling them what happened, the time and place, and on what page. they'll send you a form email telling you "thanks and you shouldn't do it again blah blah blah". But really, you have nothing to worry about. Accidental clicks happen to everyone.

It also happened to me once. I clicked by mistake and freaked out. However, I did not get banned. So don't worry. You'll be ok as long as you do keep on clicking "accidently" on your ads.

I have accidentally clicked on my ads before too. This happens especially when I am clicking back and forth between windows. It's still pretty rare, but I wouldn't worry about it. Just don't make a habit of it. :)

I actually occasionally click an ad to see where it goes - I don't get the money, but I also don't get banned. Don't do it too often, not daily for instance, but don't freak out either.

dont send an email to google if anything, they know the score. One click aint gonna get you banned. (more might). Why draw attention to it

This whole thing about clicking own ads annoys me. I said it in another post ages ago:

If Google are able to detect self clicks (and obviously they can) then why don't they just put something in place to zero rate the click?

    1) Self click detected
    2) Advertiser doesn't get charged
    3) Publisher doesn't get paid

Then we wouldn't have to live in fear of accidentally clicking on our own ads.

    Couldn't agree more.

l0zo, as others have said, don't worry. You can send them an email if it makes you feel better, but don't worry :)
