Misspelled domains?

    Hi guys,

As a basic question, I'm just wondering how much value there is in misspelled words?

Specifically, for me at least, "fre guitar tablature" gets searched for about 3200 times a month according to Yahoo. How that many people can spell 'tablature' but not 'free' is another question for later :)

So... how much is something like 'freguitartablature.com' or 'freguitar.com' worth?

As I say, I am specifically interested in those names but also extremely interested in the overall worth of misspellings...

    Thanks!

    Hi samskpunk:

That makes sense... I wonder if anyone has an idea of a 'search-vs-typein' count comparison?

That is to say... if 'x' number of people search for a string, what percentage of that number could you expect as a typein? I guess it all depends on the genre of the page, now that I think about it.

Oh well, it gives me something to research myself, now.

Thanks for the feedback across all of my various threads over the last few weeks!
