my site is www.missmydog.com my other site is www.powerlinepaintball.net I would like some advice on getting these two sites more optimized. The missmydog.com is a great site for helping reunite familes and I need to figure out how to promote it on a very tight budget.... single dad ....any suggustions would be appreciated
write article in ezine, hubpages, squidoo and other article directory about the motive of your website...for missmydog...make it interesting and clearly specify your intention about it...use social bookmarking websites like stumbleupon, delicious and other..make friends and share it....this is about off-page...on-page target the keywords accroding to your niche..
Try twitter and have some friends who has strong social commun and interest. Share your ideas and activities with other people. Let them to expand you to other people.
I absolutely agree - Squidoo, Hubpages and EZ articles will help you greatly. All FREE. Twitter has also been good for traffic.

I like your dog blog. I'm thinking about doing one like that myself soon, but maybe posting some videos of my dog, and some photos, and some of the puppies, too... That being said from a marketing perspective it looks like the other guys have the bases covered with the sites they suggested, they all sound good, I might even try a few myself that I'm not on yet... You might also want to consider having some products on the site, sell a dog bone here or there, would be my advice as well. (Affiliate links). Nice site! No PR yet, must be new.
