Back to the main question, as Tyler Banfield suggested, create a blog on Blogspot (Free), Learn proper use of RSS marketing (Free and yes, I use it as a strong tool for my marketing purposes) and keep your blog content-rich. Do remember that people won't visit your blog to see your adverts. You must provide useful information. You'll like to visit sites like Performancing.com and ProBlogger.Net for some nice money making guides. If you properly use these methods, you'll surely make $1+ every day. Best of luck on the Web!
The trick maybe is to not focus on $1 per day but on putting together something that will earn you nothing initially but make you $10 a day (or more) once it's established a bit. That's the usual pattern. If you have good content on your site people like me are always looking to pay you money for links, for example. On average I pay out about $50 to each person whom I agree links with. Six people like me and you've got $300 for the month or $10 a day. And you could also have Adsense etc.
