Missing posts after importing WXR file

    2 days ago I found out someone inject spam links into my posts. Using the Export tool I've saved all my posts under WXR format and cleaned up the postings using a XML editor.

    I then manually deleted all the posts in my site and imported the clean WXR file. Now I can see the posts on my site but when I click on an individual post it shows as "Error 404 - Not Found". I tried posting a new post and it seems to be working but all the older posts (2k of them!) are having this problem.
