Missing Backilinks

Anyone lose back links?

Since the update i have lost nearly a thousand back links. Anyone know how this happened?

 

backlinks get missing all the time. when google index a page with your link on it, you get one backlink. when google index the same page again and don;t fin your link on that page, then that backlink gets taken out. also, if the page doesn't exist anymore where your link was there at one point, backlinks get removed as well.

thousand backlinks you lost, were they all permanent backlinks? any pattern you notice in terms of missing links? what kind of links were they?

 

Not sure i dont really track them, most of my back links come from link exchanges and should be permanent

 

Actually, I don't get any backlinks but give me PR4 on my tv series blog.

 

People with PR0 links 100 sites, and than get PR4 and remove all spamy links to sell links easier.

 

those dirty rats, i dont care, my site is SEO tight, im getting visitors from google. I dont thank i have had many visitors at all from the link exchange links. Maybe 1 or 2, so it doesnt do me any good anyway.

 

strange, my links are all back

 

google has deleted most of the backlinks because of paid links algo change.

it may be related with this

 

thats wasn't my case, mine weren't paid, and strangely they are showing up now
