Mirroring

    Hi there,

    I want to know if mirroring my site with dense keywords & redirecting back to my current site is considered a no no, or is okay?

    Also someone I know wants to sell a placement b/c he got himself ranked high in Google & he wants to redirect his URL to the customer's site.

    The keywords would match the nature of the site, so i'm wondering if that's something that is allowed?

    If the content on the mirror site is exactly the same, you will trip a filter.

    What you are describing as mirroring sounds an awful lot like what TrafficPower/1p was doing when all of their clients disappeared from Google. In their case, they used an onmouseover redirect.

    IMO, this is a very risky technique - especially if you don't know what you are doing.
