Are platforms like weebly and squidoo black hat or white hat if they contain similar - but not identical - content to your main site? I have created a Weebly which has similar content - with some additions and alterations - to a page on my main site and a link back to this site saying "see main site for more details". I hadn't thought I was doing anything wrong but have now been reading about black hat mirror sites. Is this likely to be seen as a black hat "mirror site" by the search engines? Or is this acceptable if you don't overdo it and have too many mirror sites? After all, many Squidoo lenses are effectively describing someone's business and then linking to the main site. Would appreciate any advice before I build links to my Weebly as I don't want to start anything that is likely to be black hat.
