mirror site on another domain - possible?

Is it possible to mirror my site (WP blog) on another domain? Its for a popular product which the mispelling is actually more popular than the actual spelling, but id like to mirror my site on 2 different domains. Is this possible? Im also using wordpress and cpanel (linux). Thanks

 

yep...possible. Just use the same database details in wp-config.php

 

Thanks for the reply, I added a little rep for you. Ill give it a closer look next week and see how to mirror the DB. Not sure how all that works, buy Ill take a look.

if you using wordpress, then you can use rss to link the sites together. (i.e. the mirror site just display the rss feed with a template.) This will cut down the time of fiddling with connecting external db. CP sometimes have the port closed for external connection if they are not hosted on the same ip.

 

Ha, very good idea and now I feel foolish for not thinking of that myself. I will try to get this implemented in a few days (very busy right now) and report back. Thanks again and added some green rep for you.
