Minor suggestions/annoyances

Does anyone else deal with loads of PMs and gets frustrated by waiting the 60 seconds between sending PMs?

I understand this has been done to stop spammers send automated posts, would it not be possible to enforce this on a time period or retroactively once a user has been proven to be a spammer.

The time period option could work in the same way as the link building topic, where you can't post in it until you have been a member for a certain amount of time and made a certain number of posts.

The other option is pretty much self explanatory.

Or is there another reason I am not aware of??

Also is there anyway I can change the auto-log off as having to keep logging in when I leave the site for 5 mins is annoying.

Works fine the way it is and keeps PM spam to a minimum.

Tick the 'Remember Me' checkbox to keep you logged in. If that still doesn't work, log out and clear any DigitalPoint cookies from your computer then log back in again, ticking the 'Remember Me' checkbox. Should work okay after that although there are some current database issues going on at the moment.

 

The PM time issue was already addressed recently (not likely to change), and you already were given the proper response on your login problem.
