Minor site redesign + include an opt-in form: $50

    Hello,
    I'll keep the intro short:
This my first attempt at a contest but i have been a member for a while and I see the great work people do. This is my attempt at a small project for now, but my main goal is a partnership for the future as it's quite difficult to find good reliable designers on a reasonable budget. I already 2 projects ready to be launched so this is really a trial project for us.

Ok, here are the requirements for this one:
I want a minor (major ?) "beautification" for this site: my-iphone-unlock.net.

This is a sales page, so experience with sales pages is a plus as their purpose is to convince the visitor. I think the site needs a "face-lift", possibly through CSS? Maybe a WEB2 look?

In addition, and this is the main purpose of the contest, is for you to "find the best place" to add a small opt-in form. It has to be a non-intrusive place. Maybe on the side? Inside the page? ..?

It's an Ajax form, so after the opt-in the buyer will stay on the page. The trick is to make the form "visible" enough but at the same time not too distractive.
You can see a demo here:
    http://www.roscripts.com/uploads/articles/146/

Depending on the responses, I plan to keep the contest open for 5 days before I declare a winner.

    TIA
    S

ok, I really hate to be cheap and I thought I wasn't...
I've seen brand new site templates here for 100-200. this is a MINOR upgrade, "beautification" with an opt-in, newsletter form (just an email and ok button). I could even do it, but i need a graphic artist for a nice placement.

    If you say so....
Sure. I'll raise it to $150. And 5 days from today .
IMPORTANT: The opt-in form is in Ajax. I'll worry about the back end but you have to insert the code and make sure it refreshes properly on the page.

    Thanks and good luck

I'll give feedback this evening (EST), however a few important things I forgot to mention:

The page has to be easily updatable by me ! That's why I am not sure about too many PSD's.

I could open Photoshop and update a price, a version number etc. But If i decide to remove the Money back guarantee. Or add "Full suport via email" etc.
I will not be able to do it via hardcoded graphics.

I was thinking more in terms of <div>'s for the web2 style and also the "box" that will contain the opt-in form.
CSS is better for SEO as well.

Finally, no need for menus - just one "flat" page.

    Cheers!

Sorry but jharvis droped out (?) since i havent heard from him.
It's not really a contest with only one designer but I will work with you (unless jharvis decides to come back).

I am sorry if i am a pain, it's my first one and to be honest I dont feel the only choice i have is worth $150 but I will keep my commitment. I dont want people to work for free.

    The rest through PM.

    Cheers!

    Yes ! :)
I scanned the contests and i see stuff like: "$100 for 1-2 pages + logo".
I have no logo, it's one page and it's a modification of the page. Not a brand new page.
If its easier for you to start from scratch ok.

I also said I will honor my commitment and keep sending feedback to people by PM.

Waiting for the final designs guys! :)

    Just a reminder again:
    - Most of the text should NOT be in graphics so i can easily modify it
    - You have to make sure that the AJAX code for the opt-in works on the client side. You are not responsible for the server side.

    Hello,

OK, to be fair to people who have worked hard the last week I will keep the contest open for 3 more days.
At that point I will declare a winner.

Like I said, I am not in a rush however there are people here who have worked on the design for a few days now and I cannot keep them waiting forever without telling them to either stop or continue.

I want to be fair and a good buyer as this is just the beginning, I have at least two more designs (brand new) coming up and one of them needs logo, menu at at least 3-4 pages. I want to gain people's trust so we can work in the future.

    Cheers!

    Hello everyone,

I declared jharrvis as the winner of the auction.
It was not an easy job !! I have had some interesting designs to choose from but i think he grasped the idea a bit better and i liked his design a bit better.

I am not sure about the rules here, if he is supposed to show the design publickly , i have no problem with it. jharrvis ???

THANK you all for your great work.
