What is an effective way to do a simple Mininet for someone who hasn't done one before? What exactly is it and how does it work beyond all the other basic SEO practices.
A mini net is basically a little internet of sites...kind of like a linkwheel....each site points to the next and then back to the money site to push up the link juice to the main site......Linkwheel are shaped like the steering wheel of a car....the outer sites point one link back to the previous site and one link to the main site...which is where the horn of the steering wheel is located. Google has caught on to the circular pattern and can now sift out linkwheels pretty easy deeming them worthless as far as SEO efforts are concerned if detected. A mini net is the off spring or new generation of the link wheel....the sites don't move in a circular pattern but in a web of links to throw off the Google bloodhounds. You can use really any amount but the more you use the better the link juice and the harder it is for Google to detect them.. I always use do follow Web 2.0 sites to create my mini nets...
There is a book called 'Revenge of The Mininet' available for free on the web. Just google it, that is the book which introduced the concept of the mininet.
