I would suggest that you want a few hundred in order to make the site look "Aged" and also do not forget to put a link to your privacy policy clearly on each page. Very easy to forget his on a forum.

They don't specify the number of posts but I would suggest you apply when your forum getting mature, mean at least you have 10 active member daily

I think Adsense do not determine how many post for an approval, they will approve for quality. Talk about quality, it will implicated with how many post, members, age, etc...

i don't think google bases it's approval on posts but rather on your traffic and site complying to all google policies, i got accepted just right after using google analytics.

I tried to get adsense approval to my blogger account. But I couldn't get the adsense approval. Actually I don't like blogging.

I got my adsense approved some years back with a forum, but there was almost nothing on it. i had only structured the categories and stuff. there couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 posts on it, so i dont think that part is a deal breaker. plus it was up for less than a week at the time. however, i suggest you proceed with caution by adding posts and maybe waiting just a little bit before applying. its not like you will start making money from it right away anyway.
