Minimum Earning Within a Period of Time??

I have a doubt regarding adsense earnings. Suppose if i fail to make a minimum amount of earning within a certain period of months, will adsense disable my account, because for past six months i have made only few dollars. I heard i should make atleast 50$ in six months or else my account will be disabled. Is this true?

If so, can i open a new account?

    Thank u in advance

"Google reserves the right to terminate without notice any account that has not generated a sufficient number of valid clicks on Ads or Referral Buttons or valid impressions of Ads (in each case as measured by Google) for a period of two (2) months or more. Upon termination of participation of any Site in the Program or termination of this Agreement for any reason, Sections 3, 6 through 10, and 14 through 17 shall survive termination."

I have got partial answer from this, i opened adsense account on 21 june, weekly i would get 5 or 6 clicks , that made 16.56 $. So i am not sure whether google would disable me.

I dont think there is a minimum amount you need to make. Google just adds that as a failsafe. I'm sure that they are well aware that it takes quite a while for sites, especially new sites, to start earning a decent amount. It would'nt make sense for them to kick out a possible huge earner just cause it takes a while to get off the ground.

I've never heard of this before, and never heard of something like that happening.

Well it took me 11 months to get a cheque from them, so I don't think they are gonna terminate your account.

There is no minium amount that you have to earn to remain within the adsense program. Some sites will take a couple months while others may take 9-10 months., or more.

Thanks for all ur replies, now i think i wont be disabled. My blog get less than 10 impressions per day by with one or two clicks the CTR is very high and it has got a page rank 4. Now i need to create 10 more blog like that and put ads on it to raise my income.

lovelylovely is right. Usually it takes less than 48 hour before you get the reply from google. emailing them.

from my experience, in the first 6 month with adense, i barely had any clicks and yet i'm survived till now. For any reason, do not click your own ads.
