    Hello,

I am a newbie to adwords so am a bit confused about some findings.

One of my keywords lists : make 8.16 to activate

and the same keyword for my friend's adwords account says - make 216.73 to activate??

Both of us are from the same country and are using same currency:)

Both of us checked it out at the same time??

Why a different minimum activation amount for my friend and that too a very big difference?

    Can anybody explain please,

    Abhilash.

    It is Indian Rupee,

And the keywords were the same, and later we tried out some 15 keywords and both of us got different minimum activation amounts??

    Any Answers?

If google consideres your keyword more relevant to the ad and the ad group, the min CPC will be less. Creating smaller ad groups with keywords that are closely related and with more relevant ads (try to put some of the keywords in your ads) should help.

its all based on relevance.. Zamolxes is absolutely correct.. Everything has to have relevance otherwise you'll be penalised
