I have a search term I want to advertise on and I noticed there are only two other advertising on it, does that mean I'll be able to get the term cheap? If so, what is the minimum bid I can make to get a position there? I'm hoping $0.01!
In a perfect world, yes 1 cent would get you there. BUT it depends on the quality score of your ad. Why don't you just try it out?
the less you pay, the less you get - if you are willing to pay 0.05$ per click - you ad would be at the bottom = no cliks. if you pay more, you are gona pay more, yet have more profit from sales or affiliate - whatever you are doing on the site.
And that is completely not true. Seriously, do not give advice about something you clearly have NO clue about. You can of course be in position #1 and be paying LESS than the last position. It's people like you that require me to check me and my clients accounts more.
"I advertise a niche product, and I'm the only advertiser on many of my keywords. I thought I could bid the minimum CPC of $0.01 on those keywords, and have my ad show. Yet, my minimum bid is much higher. What's up with that?" Answer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Here.
Thanks, I bet I've linked to that post about 1,000 times...it really is a common misconception Best of luck with your campaign.
