What would you guys consider enough content? In term of number of pages or words?
    10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000? ++?

Note that I'm actually talking about NON duplicated, unique content.

    "Enough" for what?

What are your goals for the site?

You could have a very successful website with as few as 50 pages if they are unique.

The best way is to see how many on topic pages your competition has and then double it. Make sure it is non dupe content or atleast 70% of it changed. Articles are an excellent way of creating content.

One page sites can make a person a ton of money.
A million page site can make a person a ton of money.
And anywhere in between can make a person a ton of money.

    Or not!!!

But any website that is content based can never have enough content.

Why is there a limit? Why can't a website being an on going thing? If someone told me I have enough pages on The TechZone and that I should stop adding anymore, I would say "The TechZone is an on going business"

That's like telling Intel to stop making faster CPUs because they're fast enough now and they're making money.

have you read the title. It's not maximum, it's minimum. I was looking for how much content you should have to lunch a website. I shall add it's about technology and science, if it's an important parameter.

one page should be the minimum, but if you enjoy the topic you are writing about why stop there?

Personally I just launch a website when I believe it delivers enough information to the visitors to cover the topic they are searching for, I don't think there is a set quota for how much or how little you should have before 'opening the doors', so to speak.

You can start with a simple one page with a few paragraphs. Publish it. Then start adding to the first page & addiing additional pages.... etc.

Best advice is to start the site off as soon as possible - 2-3 pages should do it, get some links in and build the content as you go. Otherwise, there's always the danger of keep adding stuff and never going live.

I have a one-pager in a sharply-defined niche that makes money from Adsense. So that would be the minimum.

Realistically, I think you need enough pages to explain your topic or to provide the information you want to provide. In the case of my niche, that one page is all that is needed to tell folks what they came to the site looking for.

I think it depends on if you have a content site or not. My site is not a content site so to speak so not many pages are required to get my message across. However, I do plan on adding more pages as I build the site, however it think it will be a long time before I reach 50 pages.

It will widely depend on the topic of your site and what your visitors are looking for. Personally I try to have at least around 10 pages of good content (of about 300-400 words each) to get started.

As been said, the more content you have the better. It also increases your chances to get ranked for keywords you wouldn't even have thought off.
