Minimum amount for start an adwords campaign?

    Depends on what you are doing, are you just experimenting or are you running a serious campaign? The other issue is, are you asking if google has a minimum to which the answer is no I believe.

    Typically, if you want see decent traffic from Adword's; you should have a $25 Daily budget at least.

    I'd spend at least $200 on a campaign before declaring it unprofitable.

    One of our early clients had a very successful campaign for their restaurant, spending £5 per day (averaging a booking for £2).

    It depends on your market - if you are bidding on competitive keywords, you probably need a larger budget.

    I sort of aggree, but I would use this as a starting figure to optimise your account. Stats are key when it comes to Adwords, and the more numbers you have to play with, the more accurate overview you can obtain from what works and what doesn't.

    Spend as much as you can to start off with, optimise your account to what is profitable and then reduce your budget.
