    What about 3 likes? It is ok, you need to help to others or give some useful answers and you can get it. It is good plan to avoid spammers who comes only to post something. :)

    I think there could have been a paid option available so that someone who is not established could have posting and signature privileges. Premium options don't offer signature privileges prematurely

    I disagree, earlier this morning 2 members posted on the same thread. Coincidently they both had 2 likes. Their comments resonated with 2 established members and they both received a like, bringing them both up to the required 3 likes. As of this morning they have both become *established members*.
    Take a lesson from this and make a few helpful comments and soon you too will have your 3 likes.

    I feel sorry for one member though. She *finally* got her 3 likes. She started off with 1 and managed to get 2 more on the same thread . So then she was an established member but guess what happened?
    The thread got deleted and she lost her 2 new likes! I also lost a like and so did one other member that I know of. So now the poor girl has to start all over again trying to get 2 more likes!
    But her attitude is good and she is determined to do just that.:)

    Yes 4 members in all(that I know of thus far) lost likes when that thread got deleted. So I wrote a thread about it asking what was going on and.......I got a like out of it so I broke out even.:)

    It's a strange rule. But it does seem to have eliminated a lot of the spam. (But also likely many responsible reputable members).

    I completely agree with you. I'm a member of many communities which have a BST section, however there was only ever a few threads posted every couple of days because people were using DP to sell their websites. It was free, fast and easy - and the majority of the websites for sale were genuine and great value. Since the three likes business I have seen other communities 'BST' forums flourish. I think DP may be doing more harm than good with this.

    However, I do agree that BST needs to be better protected, as you said. Something needs to be done and a site verification is great but surely there are other ways in which site verification could be achieved?
