The problem is that I can't find that. I want to buy a service that I can't find listed on the seller's forum

Yeah, you would need to be an established member to start your own thread.

Well, if you had reputation while we were on vBulletin you wouldn't have to get likes. Your reputation was converted to likes in our new system. Unfortunately, you had no reputation which is why you have 0 likes.

You can earn likes by making quality posts that contribute to the forum. People who find your posts helpful and are able to like your post may like them. You can easily make one post and get all the 3 likes from that single post required for your established membership.

    Anyways, good luck!

Becoming a premium member would still require to get 3 likes to be able to post in Business section? and what when the membership duration ends ? would it pull u back to get 3 likes again to post there ?

About 3 likes rule really don't like it... all of sudden you put up a rule on forum and stop many old members from their activity...even if rule was important to be placed there should have some relaxation for old members, like i don't know am member like for a year or two and all of sudden this rule is implied which really disturbed my activity.
As i read little in this thread admin/Mod/Staff said that it was important to stop spam.... wondering spamming was more when this rule was not imposed or now when many old and new member would be posting a lot useful + not useful information just for LIKE hunting.

Once you have 3 likes you have established membership permanently. You're already "established." You can't become unestablished...

Many people don't like it but it's for the better. I've been a member for a while too but I accepted the fact that I had to get 3 likes to become an established member. I didn't have any reputation on the old system so I had to gain it by contributing to the forum, which I have done. Now I have 10 likes (fyi I started off from 0 after we converted).

Thanks . I meant to ask if i convert into premium member would I be able to post in BST without getting 3 likes? if yes what would happen when the period of my premium membership ends ? would it ask me to get 3 likes ( if i am unable to achieve any in period of premium membership) to continue posting in BST?

You can post threads in B/S/T if you are a premium member. If you aren't one (or don't have 3 likes), you can't.

Great work and keep up the good posts then. Just out of interest, how long did it take and how much time did you spend on it?

I would like to say that the new DP look is so much better than the old site. I think the new 3 likes rule may have an impact by ensuring hit and run style spamming is harder to accomplish. However I think other rules may be good too for eliminating spam and improving the quality of all posts and threads. The ability to "like" a thread might be a good idea. There should also be more encouragement for starters of threads to like posts if they provide genuinely decent information and encouragement for them to report spam at the same time.

You will see the "Like" button after you got 3 Likes (this will make you an Established Member).
    You can check here: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/help/established
Alternatively, you can go to try the Premium Membership.

I find that rating somebody's involvement in a forum based on the amount of "Likes" one has doesn't reflect their actual value to the community. Still love DP though. (Just need one more "Like" before I can actually hire people again!)
