Million Dollar Question - on Serps.

one of my directories is very good with serps.

And see that they read pages regularly, but the number of indexed pages remain the same.

So, my question is what are they reading and why don't googel update the number of indexed pages?

    Thanks

ive found that if you link to loads of primary pages from your home page the pagerank gets carried through i.e. your home page is pr6 with 50 or so linked pages achieving pr5... and as you know, the higher your page rank, the more frequently you're updated

google cache update and indexing more pages are related with your backlinks. if you have strong backlinks from high pr web sites. you will get more googlebot visit and your site will have more google index.

making a sitemap is a good option for you. this will help google to find new pages on your site

Search engines always look for fresh text. Sometimes if new text is not found it does not crawl and index other pages. You need to make regularly some changes in your website.

base on my previous post.. read this.

Adding fresh keyword-rich content to your website and blog is the most essential step to increasing your ranking on search engines. It is important that you write and add new content on a regular basis.
