Because a lot of bidders seemed to be fake or claim that they typed in the wrong amount! Now there is no way of knowing if the whole thing is legit!
Bidders are not pulling out, the bidders with 0 feedback are not allowed to bid... Read the fineprint...
If the guy who is bidding for USD $150,000 is not allowed to bid and if he is serious than he should contact Alex directly.
He can bid, if you read the stuff in the postage and delivery details page you have to be accepted as a bidder before you can bid...
Yeah amazingly it's indeed way down: Current bid: US $38,100.00 (Approximately £21,592.52) 6 minutes left, SM might win! Also, 100K uniques in one day on the auction alone... That's >4K in the 2 minutes it took me to copy paste this...
I clocked traffic at the showdown and he had 13,367 hits in the last 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Everybody must have been refreshing to catch those non-existing snipers...
Everyone thinks that Alex has sold all 990.000 pixels and just sold the last 1.000 pixels on Ebay! Well think again!!! If you visit http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com and then press Negative you will see that there are still 100 pixels left on area 81,52 Do you see it? So what is Alex going to do with the last 100 pixels?
Such an anti-climax though. Expecting good snipes or a bidding war taking it to 200K but no... It drops from 140 back to 38 grand! If you want to monitor attention then write down the results for 'great sales depot' in Google down now and check again every day. Keep a diary here if you want. Also do the links to their site and see the results over time.
I wonder if it will default right back to me? That really was the greatest price drop and anti-climax in ebay history, an new record !! even more publicity, wonder if the job offers will dry up hey this thread is on the first page for milliondollar http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=milliondollar
Most importantly, I saw my pixels on Richard & Judy with the 5 second screenshot they showed. This means that my site was 'as seen on TV'?
