Now the "pixels aftermarket" will kick into high gear. A lot of people that bought those reserved spaces are trying to sell them now for well over their $100. Now that it's sold out though, the buzz will dramtically drop. In a year i wonder how much traffic the page will get.
Haha that's funny Blitz. If the Queen watches R&J you can even claim you served the Royals... Knighthood is on its way...
Since most advertisers are having very poor ROI on pixel pages and given that they are just link farms without content the pixel fad will die out in a month or so. And The douchebag who bought the last pixels is gonna be kicking himself in a few months when he is unable to get any traffic.
that is just amazing, i was keeping an eye on it to see how much it sells for and in the end it went from $150,000 dropped to around 30,000?? thats crazy!
Well, people have been reselling their pixels for the last 2 weeks and are getting less than 1 USD for each pixel. Ther first publications about the Ebay bid have been reported. The UK financial Times http://news.ft.com/cms/s/d4edefe0-82ae-11da-ac1f-0000779e2340.html
Well it closed at $38,100.00. Winning Bidder: greatdealsdepot It went very low compared to what expected by everybody.
I can't even see the Milliondollarhomepage.com site. It looks like the site is down. Maybe he quit hosting it too
Yep - http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com doesn't load for me, and it looks like he sold the last few pixels for a grand total of $38,100.00 He is one lucky guy..
milliondollarhomepage was an awsome idea... one of those thinks where u say... why didnt i think of that?
Seems far fetched to me. Maybe someone just bought that space early on but the sale fell through, a card chargeback or whatever. Even if it was intentionally, it's no scam IMO. Here's the direct link: http://www.milliondollarscam.com?ref=digitalpoint-worlds-coolest-webmaster-forum
