Military Website Review

Hello, I am curious to know what everyone thinks of my site http://www.militarynewsnetwork.com (MNN). Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Am especially interested in SEO related critique, especially for the keyword "military loans" for militarynewsnetwork.

By the way, last Thursday I took a big hit in traffic. Google reranked MNN in many categories. Not sure what happened. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

yeah i love it. its kinda news website though..i love the neat and the happening environment on the web.

 

To begin with, I've never been a fan of sites that banter ADS all over it. That would automatically give a no-no impression.

And your site is build in Tables? Please code it in valid XHTML/Valid CSS.

Thus, I don't know but I disagree to other's critics. The layout seem to be messy.

Fix the navigation Menu Buttons. If I haven't look for it, I won't see it. Make it more noticeable. Engraved it if possible.

I couldnt connect. I have an 8000kbps connection, nothing else running and it timed out at 40 seconds.

First time I can't say anything bad. Looks good. I have an idea for you: Make it more TV: let's say MNN TV
Sound close to CNN and this can bring traffic. Maybe. More military clips it will be good too. Good luck!

I agree that it looks nice but I wonder what differentiates it from other similar sites. Why would I want to spend more time there than say military.com or similar sites? I would focus on finding a good niche service or content that would drive people to you rather than competing with the other similar sites.
