Military draft should be considered: US war czar

A draft would rile up people who are indifferent. It would also likely bring up images of Vietnam compllete with certain "fortunate sons" being given preferential treatment.

 

I say draft them!!!

Get the warmongering fools sat behind their PCs in their carpet slippers into the thick of it.

I would be laughing my ass off at them if it happened.

 

In fact they should be the first ones drafted to show us all their incr4edible patriotism

 

I'm all for a draft; as long as it followed the same outline as the one proposed earlier this year... Basically no person should be exempt, even if they have political affiliations or are in college...

Instead of only the lower to middle income families fighting the war; all Americans should feel the pain...

It would also cause colleges to start protesting if they had a possibility of being drafted; which may help to bring another 10 senators to the "withdrawal timetable" side of the aisle, giving the congress the ability to pass a veto-proof bill...

Won't happen, but I'd like to see it happen myself. Since it's typically conservatives that serve our country anyway, we could get some of these "do nothing but whine, moan and complain" liberals like briant in there to actually do something for their country for a change.

What I'd really like to see, is the pro-terrorist wussies like ags and gworld go over and do their part for 72 virgins. As it stands, they just cheer sitting behind their keyboards. I have no doubt they wouldn't last long with the "brave mujahadeen" they cheer and support. Would probably hide behind women and children as well.
