    reached my first thousand posts for my forum in signature, hard work, and slow. But now head for 2000 posts, 100 active users, and 500 threads?

    You should it's a great idea if there is no competition. I have started a forum promotion site, in my sig, so fair warning it takes a bit of time (mods, guidelines etc.) to set up unlike a basic forum.

    You have a pretty good niche as mobile devices are definitely popular and there's plenty to talk about as new ones are constantly being released. You might also want to start doing app reviews at a later date which might be useful to your community.
