Migration : What a webhosting company will do usually?

I have a master reseller hosting with a webhosting company. Recently they offered me to choose to new servers and i selected one. They just transferred just the accounts to new servers and not the website data.

When i asked them, they simply told me to transfer the website datas.

Moreover they also placed their company index file in all client's sites, thus revealing their upline identity.

My account had just 4 simple websites.

Is it what other people do? Or do they transfer datas during migration.

    No.
Never reveal your upline to your client.
The company will move all the hosting and website data to the new server without master reseller help.
I think its time to change company.
