Migration from Optigold

    We're going to be migrating off of Optigold. Has anyone tried .com Solutions, Inc. for migrating data off of FileMaker/Optigold to another database like MySQL?

    It looks like their FmPro Migrator product might work:

    Failing that, they advertise a "FmPro Migration Service - (for OptiGold FileMaker database files)":

    "The FmPro Migration Service (for OptiGold files) provides a fixed-price migration service for OptiGold FileMaker database files. Database structure and customer data is migrated from FileMaker to the customer-specified destination database"

    Has anyone had any experiences good or bad using either of these to migrate off of Optigold?

    You may hire a freelancer who know both mysql and optigold to do that.

    Assuming you know your target db ...

    AT $100 with a 30-day money back guarantee, get it. With no guarantee,I would say get it and throw it away, even if they do not honor the guarantee, $100 does not get you much consulting. I am going to follow my advice and thanks for the link.
